Hello, I’m John DiDomenico, but you can call me JD. I’ve always been captivated by the transformative power of light and how it shapes our experiences in spaces, both public and private. This fascination led me to establish Skyline Arts LLC, a beacon in the world of Architectural and Production Lighting design.
From the early days, my team and I were on a mission. We sought not just to illuminate spaces but to redefine them, crafting experiences that resonate with people’s emotions and senses.

Transforming
CityPlace Tower
My team and I took on the City Place Tower in West Palm Beach, working with Acclaim Lighting USA. Our goal? To cast the structure in a new light and redefine the city's skyline. The result was a breathtaking transformation.
Revitalizing North 3rd Street Bridge, Wilmington, NC
Here, we designed, egineered, and installed a dynamic LED lighting system. It was a game-changer, with colors flowing with the traffic, breathing new life into the area around the community college and Wilmington's downtown.
Preserving Artistic Heritage with The Miami Line
The Miami Line, Rockne Krebs' 1987 Neon masterpiece, needed a sensitive touch. My team and I stepped in to ensure this iconic public light artwork was preserved with the respect it deserved, using contemporary LED solutions while staying true to Krebs' vision.
The Challenge of 300 South Tryon, Charlotte (2017)
This was a race against time. In just 4.5 months, we installed an array of 3254 RBGW LED fixtures and window LEDs, culminating in an iconic, vibrant, digital display capable installation. It ws a testament to our team's dedication and passion.
